A potential loophole in security for Bluetooth phones

I find Bluetooth interesting: articles like this talk about the huge number of enabled devices that have shipped, in yet it still hasn’t really taken off. Not sure why this should be the case, as it’s obviously a great piece of technology with so many great uses. Maybe the fact that hackers are taking the time to find holes in implementations, is some indication that it’s starting to become mainstream?
