So is it finally okay to admit that you played D&D as a kid, rather than feeling a little dorky? In theory todays video games do stretch the mind, in that they require complex problem solving. All to often however I think they degenerate into a blood-fest shoot-em-up which requires little beyond keyboard mashing. I don’t ever recall D&D going that way, and even if it did at least it wasn’t spoon fed to you in gory images. That said they’re both fairly passive activities for kids, and in a generation of children where childhood obesity is on the increase, I’d still be more comfortable with a more active pursuit percolating to the fore.

Countdown to the October 24th release begins … I really do hope this lives up to the hype.
All things generated …
I was amazed at the control the pilots had over the landing; slowly putting the nosewheeel on the tarmac. Interesting that the landing gear never collapsed, which as a layman I’d have fully expected. Now why can’t all landings be that gentle?
